Woodland Sprint Boat Race Track
The Woodland Sprint Boat Race Track is a USSBA race course that hosts extreme fuel injected engine race boats that boast 1000 hp at 6500 rpm.
DSA provided measurements of the ambient noise levels at the site, along with recordings of the noise made by the race boats. The measured data was used to model and predict the statistical noise contour levels caused by a race event. Finally, necessary mitigation options were determined for the sprint boat track to comply with the governing standards
